Free initial review
Are your service charges transparent, appropriately budgeted and delivering value? Send us your current service-charge budget and managing-agent fee information for a free initial review.
We will highlight costs that may need clarification, potential budget omissions and areas where your current management arrangements could be improved. There is no obligation to change managing agent.
The free review is available to:
There is no maximum number of units. Whatever the size of the development, the free service remains an initial document review. Large or complex developments may require separately scoped paid work if a detailed investigation is needed.
An individual leaseholder may request an initial review, but they may not personally have authority to replace the existing managing agent or make decisions on behalf of the development.
Council-owned blocks: the review can help identify questions about the budget or service charges, but it does not mean East Valley can replace the council's management arrangements. Council-owned housing may require a local-authority procurement process or a separate Tenant Management Organisation process. The private leasehold Right to Manage process does not apply automatically to council-owned blocks.
We do not promise that we will find savings. Where a comparison is useful, we refer to our published block management pricing.
We aim to respond within five working days after receiving the necessary documents. That period does not start until we have enough information to carry out the review.
Complete the form and attach whatever documents you have. If something is missing we will tell you what else we need.
